| Ok, well basicly i've just started weight training. I have put on 4Lbs in 3 weeks, I try to train for a solid hour each day, I will post my diet what I am currently eating, could someone please advise me, I am only 17 at the moment:
Breakfast 9 A.M - Two wheetabix / Half - One pint of milk
Snack 11 A.M - One tin of beans on 2 pieces of wholemeal bread
Lunch 1 P.M - Tin of tuna, 2 Boiled eggs, Half tin of beans, 100g pineapple
Snack 3 P.M - 100g Chicken / Ricecrackers and cheese / Rice pudding / Peanut butter on wholemeal bread
Dinner 5 P.M - 200g Chicken with Wholemeal bread / Tuna / Wholemeal pasta
It may not be much but I only weigh 66KG / 10 Stone 4LBS at the moment, so I do not want to overload it to much so i put on fat. | | | Back to top | |  | | will78 Senior Member

| Try and spread the amount of protein you eat equally throughout the day. For example, 30-40g of protein per meal for your size. It's hard at first to juggle it but once you get used to it, it's piss! Also, don't bump up your protein intake dramatically. Increase by 20g of protein per day for a week then increase again and again until you get to your desired protein amount. Reason for this is if your eating say 80g of protein a day then jump to 200g then your body doesn't know how to consume that much so rejects a lot of it, either by turning it into urea(piss) or fat. Mine always turned to piss and i was pissing like an old woman!
